Often I’ll provide you with various resources or links that I’d like you to visit as part of our work together. I’ve included the more common ones here for your convenience.
- Now Matters Now – A website that links to mindfulness videos to help you ride through the storm of your emotions. Videos are narrated by both professionals and those who have been in crisis moments themselves.
- Virtual Hope Box – A great iPhone or Android app that helps you deal with intense distress on your own. Originally created by the Department of Defense to aid veterans with PTSD, this app has guided relaxation techniques, games that help take your mind off of what is distressing you, and a personalize “Hope Box” where you can compile items that give you hope, reminders from those that care about you, and more.
