What do you want to talk about today?

At the moment, my services are only available for private pay. This means that I do not accept any form of health insurance. However, many insurance companies allow limited coverage for out-of-network providers; generally ranging from 50%-75% of the total session fees, depending on the plan. My current fees are:

  • 30-minute introductory “get to know you” session: No charge
  • Full fee: $90 per 50-minute session
  • 90-minute session: $145
  • Sliding scale: Negotiable. Please contact me directly if you require sliding scale services

A common question asked of me is, “What kinds of things do you work with?” My answer to this question changes depending on the needs of the person. However, if pressed, the most common obstacles I work with are:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Coping with chronic pain
  • Stress and stress management
  • Cultural and bicultural issues (including “cultural clashes” and adjusting to new situations)
  • Goal-setting and fulfillment
  • Trauma
  • Phobias
  • Managing daily stressors
  • Gaming addiction
  • Behavioral management

The list can go on and on, it all depends on your needs. Contact me today and see if I can help you with your needs. I offer a 30-minute, “get-to-know-you” session at no cost and no obligation so that we can meet and see if we can work together.

My goals are your goals, whatever they may be!

One of the first questions I ask of all my clients is: “What are your goals for counseling?” While the answers to this question vary from individual to individual, common themes generally begin to arise. While this list is nowhere near complete, here are some of the goals that I am privileged to work with my clients to reach:

  • To move past depression and retake control of life again
  • To conquer anxiety
  • Live the life that you want to live
  • Communicate and resolve conflict within a relationship
  • Get out of the house and into the world
  • Overcome an addiction to video or online games
  • Make sense of the multiple roles and expectations placed on a person by multiple cultures
  • Be able to recognize “decisive paralysis” and make healthy and intelligent decisions

Some questions you could ask yourself are: What are my goals? What do I want out of life? What areas of my life could use improvement? What do I need to resolve from my past? Let me help you in your journey to find the answers to these questions for yourself.
